Students get in gear at Driving School day out
STUDENTS from across the College took a day out to learn all about becoming a safe driver, at the Roadster Day, which was held in Gilwell Park.
The event gave sixty students tips on applying for their licence, choosing an instructor, and buying a car.
The highlight of the day was their first experience behind a wheel. They drove a car for 15 to 20 minutes under instruction.
Organiser Gina Binazir said: “Essex has a poor record with young drivers in road accidents. EFC is committed to helping students learn more about becoming safer drivers and more responsible passengers.
“It was a great day, we learnt a lot and would recommend it to students next year” said student Jessica Battle. More events and workshops are planned and students can also practise for their Theory test as part of the Elective programme.

Professional driving schools do more than solely teach you the best way to drive the car. These people present you a safe car and highly trained trainers to learn with. These people present you with knowledge and give you the support you need to be successful. Even more importantly, they will instill values and good driving attitude to help you to help with road safety measures.
