Budding Dragons Wanted

Budding entrepreneurs and avid viewers of TV’s Dragon’s Den will be aware that Dragon Peter Jones has set up a successful business academy for young people looking to make their mark on the business world with the best start possible.

qualifcation in Enterprise at EFC

What may not be so well known is that the successful academy programme has been  developed with national qualification provider Edexcel and the Diploma in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship at Level 2 is being offered at EFC from September.

The course focuses on the attributes, knowledge and skills typical of successful entrepreneurs and allows students to consider these in terms of their own development.

Areas covered include understanding today’s business world, researching the market, business planning and pitching, marketing, financial modelling and leadership and teamwork.
As with success in the business world, this course demands total commitment and a  professional approach from the outset. In return, students will be working alongside business professionals both in College and in the workplace.

Course content will reflect current business practice delivered in partnership with  representatives of companies and organisations that look forward to supporting this
course and its student’s futures.

If you think you have what it takes to thrive and contribute to this course, convince us at interview and a place could be yours.

For more information contact the Head of Department, Noel Price, at nprice@efc.ac.uk  who will be able to tell you more about the course and the taster session you can join to discover how this course could change your future.
