Alan Davies visits his old college

Comedian, author and co-star of BBCs QI, Alan Davies returned recently to his old college. He found very little left of the old campus he remembers but was amazed and impressed with the brand new building and the facilities it contained.

Alan spent a day at Epping Forest College filming for a forthcoming TV adaptation of his recently published autobiography, ”My Favourite People and Me”. Much of the filming centred on the campaigning by candidates standing for positions within the Students’ Union. Alan observed the candidates making speeches and spoke to them afterwards, reflecting on his time at the College when he stood for election to a Students’ Union post.

It was at Epping Forest College that Alan discovered his talent and love for performing and those staff who remember his time here have some amusing tales to tell!

Alan reunited with his old College friend Winston Hayles. During their student days Winston beat Alan to the top spot in the student union and now runs a successful international detective agency!
